Our Story

How it all started...

Highland View Church of Christ has a rich history beginning in August 1944 in a school house which provided the congregation's name. What is now known as Oak Ridge Children's Museum, was our congregation's first home.

Expanding the vision...

Our church seeks to meet our community's needs by being the hands and feet of Jesus. We have a food pantry, clothing ministry, preschool, and AWANA-where we teach Bible lessons to kids and parents/caregivers can have a little time to themselves. We are always looking for more opportunities to meet the needs of our congregation and community.

Where we are headed...

Highland View is eager to listen to the Lord's calling on our congregation. We want all of our family to join in on Sunday morning worship service, displaying a more accurate and complete image of God. Bring your brokenness, pain, joy and wonder and join us! Teaching the Bible in an accurate and relatable way is important for your personal walk with Christ, and we would love to be a part of yours. We believe in walking through life with a community to support your discipleship and the discipleship of future generations.
